     Toxic Psychiatry rationally examines the misuse of psychoactive drugs within the psychiatric profession. Not only does Mr. Breggin assault the commonly held belief that physical brain dysfunction lies at the root of most psychiatric "disorders", but also he asserts these diseases are created by the psychiatric profession and there exists either no or very little credible medical evidence to support their existence. Yet, despite the evidence presented, the disease oriented concept prevails within "modern" psychiatric practice. At first psychiatrists called hyperactivity a brain disease. When no brain disease could be found they changed it to a Minimal Brain Disease (MBD). When this disease could not be found the profession transformed the concept into "Minimal Brain Dysfunction". When this could not be demonstrated, the label became "Attention Deficit Disorder". Bio-chemical imbalance is the code-word, but there's no more evidence for that than there is for actual brain disease.

It is written by the pseudoanonymous Lincoln Lawrence, about whom little is known. However, the context and connections of his story are expanded upon by Kenn Thomas in his weighty, well footnoted introduction to this welcome new edition. Lawrence's hypothesis have a compelling logic and deserve recognition especially in view of advances in remote neural monitoring and suggestions that Timothy McVeigh of OK bombing infamy was / is a mind controlled implantee. As "the rumor" goes, a shadowy group "The Group", with German, Argentinian and possibly Nazi links engineered a huge NY stock market crash to coincide with the JFK assassination (which they also set up), earning themselves a cool half-billon in the process. In the late 1950's, a "Mr. One" had arranged for Lee Harvey Oswald to "Defect" in Moscow to join a "Behavior Control Program". Without his knowledge , he was implanted with a tiny radio receiver and subsequently became a "sleeper", available anytime to perform assassinations at the will of a "Remote Controller". Their emphasis was on an Asian or Indian homeland, while attempting to scientifically prove the racial superiority of the white race over the black and Asian races. Racism was an institution at that time, but these racists failed to prove their theories anyway. This debate was over in the twentieth century except in the german speaking world. The Thule Society, formed to further the ideology of a northern european master race, in turn formed the Nazi party, which ironically dropped the ideology. The mythological realms of Agartha and Shamballa are examined in Arktos. Supposedly located in Asia, Agartha is an underground kingdom of super technology and advanced spirituality with techniques to monitor human surface activity. The myth maintains that one day, Agartha shall reveal it's existance to the world when the surface humans are ready spiritually. In the nineteenth century the Hollow Earth theory was popular. This myth explains that huge holes at Antarctica and the Arctic led to the hollow center of the globe with a central sun and inhabitable lands. There are those who believe this is where Hitler and the Third Reich escaped to and set up a headquarters to consolidate their power.

Was Hitler involved with esoteric Tibetan Buddhism in an attempt to enlist the powers of darkness in his quest to conquer the world? The most pertinent book on the subject seems to be Trevor Ravenscrofts 1973 occult classic "The Spear of Destiny". The author was a spy for the Allies during WWII and was captured by the Germans. He addresses the subject of Hitler from a rigidly christian perspective, although with a deep understanding of the works of Hitler's occult nemesis Rudolph Steiner and Tibetan philosophy in general. The author analyzes H.P. Blavatsky's "The Secret Doctrine" and concludes that Hitler believed the Aryan race came from the lost continent of Atlantis, a highly advanced civilization of less "corporeal" beings once located in the Atlantic Ocean. According to the Secret Doctrine, Ravenscroft reports, "these seven sub-races of Atlantis were named Rmoahals, Tlavatli, Toltecs, Turanians, Aryans, Akkadians, and Mongols". The Aryans supposedly migrated through Europe to central Asia and then to the Himilayas. The majority of the leaders of this group settled in India. It was Hitler's wish to create a society based on this mythic motive, Ravenscroft theorizes.
